What self-exclusion means
Self-exclusion is a voluntary request to prevent or restrict access to an operator account or an applicable gambling scheme for a selected period. Depending on the rules, it may block login, play, purchases or promotional messaging. It is not an automatic restriction across every gambling or social gaming website.
If you are losing control over gambling or social gaming, consider independent support alongside account restrictions. A technical block is most useful when supported by changes to notifications, payment access, daily routines and social support.

National Problem Gambling Helpline ↗Common restriction choices
Short break or cool-off
A temporary pause intended to interrupt play. It may have different effects and confirmation steps from formal exclusion.
Fixed-term exclusion
An account restriction for a defined period. Reopening conditions depend on operator policy.
Permanent closure
Often intended to be irreversible, with consequences for account access and the treatment of remaining eligible balances.
Jurisdictional schemes
Regulator or state programs may have separate procedures and may cover multiple licensed operators within their scope.
Read the specific terms before selecting a duration. A 'cool-off' and a 'permanent exclusion' should not be assumed interchangeable.
Shuffle.us: what its published policy says
Shuffle.us directs customers to the Self-exclusion tool in their Shuffle Wise dashboard and offers support for account restrictions. Its policy describes an initial 24-hour cooldown after a request, followed by opportunities to select an exclusion period. Published choices include fixed periods and permanent exclusion.
The operator says a permanent self-exclusion cannot be reversed. Time-limited restrictions can have different reopening behavior after the chosen period. Do not rely on this independent guide as a substitute for the account screen or the most current policy.
Read the official responsible social gameplay and self-exclusion policy ↗ before proceeding.
Self-exclusion may restrict access to accounts and prize redemption controls. The official policy also describes special handling of eligible remaining balances. Review those provisions and use official support to resolve balances; do not delay urgent help merely to pursue a balance.
How to prepare a self-exclusion request safely
- Open the official operator website or app directly; do not enter credentials through a third-party guide.
- Find the account responsible-play or self-exclusion section and read each duration and consequence.
- Make the request through the official account control or support process.
- Save the confirmation and any reference number in a secure place.
- Disable marketing messages, remove apps and consider device-level blocking tools.
- Contact independent support and make a plan for the restricted period.
If you cannot access an operator's account tools, use its own published support channels. This website cannot request account closure on your behalf.
Exclusion may not cover other platforms
A restriction with one platform may leave accounts elsewhere unchanged. Regulated gambling exclusion schemes can differ by US state or jurisdiction, while social casino account restrictions follow operator-specific rules. Ask an independent support service which mechanisms apply where you live.
Do not create replacement accounts or use another person's account to evade a restriction. If the urge to do so is strong, reaching out for help may be more useful than relying on account controls alone.
